Amazon Goes Airborne as JetBlue Seeks Edge With Free Wi-Fi
You may be able to watch free movies in the sky if you are traveling this Thanksgiving, as long as you use Amazon Prime on JetBlue Airways.
Passengers on about 160 JetBlue aircraft, or three-quarters of the fleet, will be able to access thousands of titles through the Amazon video-streaming service via free Wi-Fi on flights by Thursday. JetBlue and Amazon announced the partnership in May.

KLM’s Boeing 787 offers new cabins, connectivity

As the latest airline to place Boeing’s 787 Dreamliner into service KLM had the opportunity to revisit its inflight product and set a new course for the airline. It has done precisely that, introducing new products for World Business Class, Economy Comfort (premium economy) and economy class. The products were put on display during a series of demo flights this past weekend over Holland; RGN was invited to experience the new product on one of these flights.

United lets passengers purchase wifi using MileagePlus points

The latest step in United’s upgrades to its wifi portal solution is live and it brings a new angle to the purchase process: customers can now purchase wifi using their MileagePlus points rather than a credit card. The service is rolling out today on the 360+ aircraft equipped with the Panasonic Avionics Ku-band satellite connection; it is expected to expand to the other connectivity platforms as the portals across United’s multiple providers are consolidated to a common system.

United to let travelers use miles for in-flight Wifi
United Airlines plans to let travelers redeem frequent-flier miles for Wifi on flights, company officials said.
United, the second-largest U.S. airline by capacity, began testing a web portal on Thursday that lets customers use award miles to access the Internet on their laptops, tablets and smartphones, making it the first U.S. carrier with the feature, a spokesman said.
