AeroMobile partners with du to offer in-flight mobile connectivity

AeroMobile, a subsidiary of Panasonic Avionics has signed a partnership agreement with UAE telecommunications operator du, to offer du’s subscribers in-flight mobile connectivity.

The new partnership will expand on du’s popular international roaming plans – ‘Roaming data bundle on preferred networks’ –which currently enable subscribers to use their phones in 86 different countries for the same price as being at home.

Ethiopian Installs Wi-Fi on A350 Fleet

Ethiopian Airlines has installed broadband satellite Wi-Fi across its Airbus A350 fleet. The service is available for a fee or by redemption of ShebaMiles. A350 aircraft currently make up 12 of Ethiopian’s operating fleet of 116 aircraft, and the carrier plans to expand Wi-Fi to the other long-haul aircraft in its fleet.
